Charlie O’Connell had put the visitors in front.

Temi Eweka hit a late equaliser as Eastleigh held National League leaders Boreham Wood to a 1-1 draw.

Eweka pounced on a loose ball to fire Eastleigh level in the 84th minute.

The visitors had taken the lead in the 67th minute when Charlie O’Connell headed in from Regan Booty’s delivery.

Boreham Wood had already spurned several chances to go head before then, with Eweka making a crucial block to deny Tarryn Allarakhia from close range in the first half before Oliver Bainbridge sent the rebound wide.

Farhaan Ali Wahid put a good chance over and James Clarke saw an effort hooked off the line by Tommy Dobson-Ventura five minutes before O’Connell’s opener.
