Nicoll set for Olympic kick off

Welshpool's Adele Nicoll is set to take to the Monobob track this weekend as they makes her Winter Olympics bow having made the cut for Team GB.

Nicoll, a multiple medal winning shotputter for Wales changed sports to bobsleigh in recent years - and was a reserve at the last Winter Olympics.

This time she has made the cut after successful World Cup campaigns and is putting in the final bits of preparation for the big stage.

Nicoll and her team mates will be in training during the latter part of the week before the heats kick off.

She will be in the first round of heats on Sunday - with the second round of heats then taking place on Monday.

That is then followed by training for the two woman event - ahead of the heats in that discipline which are scheduled for Friday February 20.
