Tom Watkins’ charges had lost on penalties in Hull the previous evening, which the visitors’ consolidated on Sunday with an outright victory to progress to the Final 4 in Coventry.
Caelan McPhee opened the scoring for Tigers after nine minutes when he added the finishing touches to an attack involving David Thomson and Harry Ferguson.

Thomson slotted McPhee through on goal and the Tigers star swept a clinical finish into the far bottom corner.
Tigers maintained their slender 1-0 lead until six minutes into the final period when Emil Svec pounced on a pass by Tommy Spraggon to equalise.
The floodgates opened from that point onwards as the Seahawks soared to victory with a trio of late goals. Bobby Chamberlain made it 2-1 with just over five minutes left after he was set-up by Johnny Corneil.
Tigers threw everybody forward in the dying stages, but Lee Bonner delivered the final blow when he scored a third for the Seahawks with just seconds to go.
