The Shropshire golf starlet has enjoyed a stunning rise over the last 12 months and now has a place among Europe’s junior elite to face off against the United States.
Starlet Lauren Crump has another chance to show her class against junior golf’s elite after earning a call in the prestigious European Junior Solheim Cup.

The competition is modelled on the Solheim Cup and pits the 12 best junior players aged between 12 and 18 from Europe against the leading dozen from the United States of America.
The clash will take place at Bernardus Golf in The Netherlands on September 7 and 8.
Crump, who turned 17 last month, is enjoying a whirlwind year after last month qualifying for the AIG Women’s Open to make her major debut. The teen was unfortunate to miss the cut in the Royal Lytham & St. Annes showpiece.
The Whitchurch star is one of just two British players to make the squad, alongside fellow Englishwoman Annabel Peaford.
Crump, of Hill Valley Golf Club, was one of six players to earn qualification for the event through her position in the rankings. The other squad members were captain’s picks.
The Cup comprises six foursomes and six fourball matches on Monday September 7, before 12 singles matches on Tuesday September 8.
It is the 14th junior edition, with Europe looking to add to 2021 and 2023 successes after falling to defeat in the US in 2024.
Crump’s stunning form of late also saw her storm to the ANNIKA Invitational Europe title at Upsala Golf Club in Sweden in June in record-breaking style with a 10-shot victory.
