Wolves to assess midfielder after injury in Cardiff win
The loan star’s first half exit was the one blot on the day.
Wolves will assess Jordan James after the midfielder sustained an injury in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Cardiff.
The Wales international, starting consecutive matches for the first time since joining on loan from Rennes, was forced off just past the half-hour mark.
Boss Cesar Peixoto later revealed the 22-year-old had complained of discomfort during the week but tests had revealed no injury.
“James felt something during the week, but we did the exam, and he had nothing and he felt good,” said Peixoto.
“We talked with him, he went to the game. He felt something, if he didn’t feel something, he wouldn’t go out of the game, as he was doing well.
“I don’t know if it’s bad or not, I haven’t talked to the doctor.”
James has needed to be patient since joining the club in August, with Saturday just his third league start.
Wolves are back in action when they travel to Bristol City on Wednesday night.
