TNS travel to the North Wales coast still unbeaten 15 league games into the season, with an overall record of 13 wins and two draws.

Six points clear of second-placed Connah's Quay Nomads at the top of the table, the Park Hall side have conceded just six league goals so far this season, with Shepperd helping to build solid defensive foundations.

Asked about taking his number of clean sheets for the season into double figures, Shepperd said: "Yes, it's really good. I think obviously when we started the season, that's what we wanted to do, pride ourselves on clean sheets, not giving up chances.

"And then obviously when me and the defenders are called upon, dealing with whatever we have to deal with, so I think we're happy enough with that."

Shepperd and his TNS team-mates had to settle for a point last time out as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Connah's Quay last weekend.

"I thought it was a game of no real end quality," added Shepperd, a former Wales under-21 international. "We dominated a bit, they dominated a bit, but obviously we didn't get too many chances, either team. A draw might have been fair, but we're disappointed with the draw."

The result ended the impressive run of 14 victories in a row in all competitions for Saints.

Llandudno, tonight's hosts, are currently 10th in the table.

TNS were 2-1 winners when the teams met at Park Hall earlier in the season thanks to a decisive stoppage-time goal from Rory Holden.
