Ollie Westbury rates the Salop performances after a fight-back point at Crewe

Will Brook

An excellent save right at the end to deny Luke Offord. He made himself big and kept his side in it.

Vital: 7

Luca Hoole

A lovely mazy run that saw him fire a shot into the side netting in the first period and a wonderful goal-saving challenge in the second half. Solid afternoon.

Solid: 7

Sam Stubbs

A good afternoon’s work for Salop from a defensive perspective, Stubbs was commanding in this one.

Good: 7

He was a constant threat in Crewe’s box, looking very dangerous in the air. He defended tidily too.

Tidy: 7

Isaac Lee

Booked for a late challenge inside the opening 20 minutes, then gave the ball away for the goal. Was subbed shortly after the resumption.

A decent afternoon for Salop left wing-back. He defended well and got forward, offering a threat in the final third.

A good afternoon for Gray who kept the Town midfield ticking over. He looks after the ball well and rarely gives up possession.

Promising: 7

Tom Sang

Brings energy to the Shrewsbury Town midfield and he was good in this one going forward and defensively too.

Energetic: 7

Looks like Shrewsbury have a real talent on their hands in McMahon-Brown. He was excellent all afternoon.

Superb: 8

George Lloyd

He never gives up and never stops running and his first goal of the season was his just reward for that at the weekend.
