Five-day closure planned for Shropshire village road
The road will reopen at 2.45pm each day
A road through a Shropshire village will soon close for five days as resurfacing gets underway.
Pelham Road in Upton Magna, between Shrewsbury and Telford, will close later this month for resurfacing work.
The works are scheduled to take place from Monday, November 23 to Friday 27, with work being carried out between 9.30am and 2.45pm each day.
A full road closure will be in place during working hours, although access for residents and businesses within the affected area will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Drivers are being asked not to park their vehicles on Pelham Road while the work is underway to allow contractors to minimise disruption.
