Leeds target Town's Connor Goldson
Leeds United have enquired about Shrewsbury Town's Player of the Year Connor Goldson.
But, despite speculation to the contrary, the Championship side have not followed up their interest with a firm bid.

Town chief executive Matt Williams said: "I had a conversation with my counterpart at Leeds where we were looking at valuations, but that's as far as it's gone.
"They have not put a bid in writing. They know what we would be looking for but they haven't followed it up.
"The player is training as normal and, until we get an offer that we'd accept, he remains a contracted player.
"Adam (Pearson) is someone I know from dealing with him when he was at Hull and Derby, but that's as far as it's gone."
Williams refused to expand on his valuation, but with Leeds having paid Chesterfield around £600,000 for Liam Cooper last summer, it's not expected to be less than that.
It looks like the Elland Road side have moved on to other targets, however, after snapping up Souleymane Bamba for a nominal fee following his loan from Palermo last season.
Bamba is one of three senior centre-backs vying for the two spots in Uwe Rosler's side, with £1.6million Giuseppe Belusci and Cooper.
Goldson, 22, is bound to attract interest from higher up the Football League, after making the centre-half position his own at Greenhous Meadow.
The 6ft 3in central defender helped Shrewsbury win promotion to League One last season and was named in the PFA's League Two Team of the Year, as well as being named the double player of the season by players and supporters.
Town are vulnerable to bids for their best players as both 22-year-old Goldson and Ryan Woods are into the final year of their contracts.
Goldson has made 121 appearances in blue and amber since making his debut in February 2011.
