"I thought he might get three games, so I don't think we'll be appealing," boss Rob Smith declared.

"He admitted to swearing, but that's the first red card he's ever had in his career so it's very out of character.

"There was a bit of provocation, but we'll take it on the chin.

"AJ (Andy Jones) has come in and done a great job before and we've got Woody (Dave Woodvine) as well. We'll have Indy back for Witton, and that could be a big game."

Meanwhile, Smith is on snow watch as he waits to learn if Saturday's trip to Gateshead will beat the weather.

The Bucks are travelling up to the north-east tomorrow and are staying for two nights, with the players paying for their own rooms for the Saturday evening.

"We've spoken to their manager and they had about an inch of snow yesterday and he wasn't hopeful," added Smith.

"But they're not predicting that there will be any more, so we're still hopeful.

"We'd prefer it was on because we don't want to be going up there on a Tuesday night. But whatever will be, will be and if it's off we'll get on with it."

Meanwhile, centre-back Jimmy Turner has recovered from the dead leg he sustained at Matlock.

The defender came through training on Tuesday evening and has been declared fit for the trip to Gateshead.
