Evans sees lead cut in WRC title race

Mid Wales rally star Elfyn Evans has seen his lead in the World Rally Championship cut to eight points after a dramatic Safari Rally Kenya.

Takamoto Katsuta and Irish-co driver came out on top - after Evans and his Toyota team mates Oliver Solberg and Sebastien Ogier were among a host of Saturday retirements.

Evans was forced to retire after his Toyota Yaris suffered damage in wet conditions on Saturday.

Evans did re-join the race on the final day to finish 13th and is now on 66 after collecting six Sunday points.
