Jack Rea set to make AFC Telford return

Midfielder Jack Rea is set to hand AFC Telford United a boost by declaring himself fit for tomorrow's clash against FC United of Manchester.

The ball-winner is expected to be available after a hamstring injury kept him out of the last two games and could link up with new signing Josh Wilson.

Assistant manager Larry Chambers said: "Jack did some light training on Thursday and did a little bit on Saturday and we'll make a decision on him tomorrow.

"He's a massive player for us and he's been one of the plus points since we joined the club, so it will be a big boost for us if he declares himself fit.

"He felt good at the end of last week so hopefully he'll be OK and have no reaction."

Meanwhile, Chambers has revealed the interest in defender Curtis Tilt has come from League Two clubs.

Tilt was linked with a move after being watched by un-named Football League clubs, but said he's happy to stay at Telford for the rest of the season.

Chambers continued: "I think the enquiries we've had were from League Two clubs. But I'd expect him to be here until the end of the season if not beyond."

The Bucks No 2 believes the 24-year-old could make it in the Football League, adding: "I think he possibly could.

"He just needs to keep working at his game. A lot of lads come through full-time academies and Curtis hasn't had that, so who knows how much full-time training could bring him on?"
