The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to attend the gala performance of The Wider Earth at the Natural History Museum.

Harry and heavily pregnant Meghan will watch the theatrical production in London on Tuesday February 12.

The event is being staged in support of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, of which Harry is president, and the network of forest conservation initiatives that make up the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.

The family-friendly show, featuring a cast of seven, puppets and cinematic animations, charts Charles Darwin’s daring five-year voyage on HMS Beagle to the other side of the world.

During their tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, the duke and duchess unveiled six dedications to the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.

The project was launched in 2015 with an appeal to all 53 Commonwealth nations to contribute areas of indigenous forest to mark the Queen’s lifetime of service to the Commonwealth.
