Robert Clark, of Urban Gardens, Wellington; Craig East, of Rushbury Road, Wellington; and Carl Robinson, of Oakfield Road, Telford, all 20, are charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Stephen Kenny on August 19.
The three were bailed to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on September 10.
Mr Kenny, a hospital porter, was found semi-conscious in Vineyard Road, Wellington.
He was in intensive care at Telford's Princess Royal Hospital with serious head and facial injuries, but is now at home.
