Telford soft play centre opens new safari-themed attraction
It’s been billed as ‘a big adventure for little explorers’
A soft play park has opened a new safari-themed attraction, especially designed for its youngest visitors.
Jungleland in Telford has officially opened a brand new attraction designed especially for its youngest visitors, with the opening of the Safari Playland.
Billed as ‘a big adventure for little explorers’, the new safari-themed play area has been created to give toddlers and young children an extra activity to enjoy during their visit.

The new space features a safari lodge and vet, along with a fire station and shop, giving tiny explorers a range of themed spaces to discover and enjoy imaginative play.
The attraction was designed by the Jungleland team, built by a local carpenter and brought to life with help from award-winning artist Neil Willis, of Auniqueart.
The artist’s work is a familiar sight around Telford - and is responsible for many of the murals on bus stops and bridges around the town.

Cerys Matthews, assistant manager at Jungleland, said the new addition had enjoyed a “very successful opening”.
She explained that the team wanted to provide more opportunities for younger children, particularly during term time when older children are at school.
“Whilst we try our utmost to accommodate all our visitors, we have felt the need to create an extra activity for all our tiny tots that visit, especially during term time whilst older children are at school,” she said.
Safari Playland is included free with Jungleland admission, with children aged four and under receiving a 20-minute time slot on arrival.
