Shropshire border road delays after car fire on A41
A woman was taken to hospital after a car fire on the Shropshire border this morning.
The fire happened in Oaken, Staffordshire, on the A41 Newport Road, which blocked the road at the A464 Holyhead Road causing delays in Shropshire.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton for further treatment.
A crew from Albrighton was sent to the scene at 8.27am to help Staffordshire Fire Service.
Police were also in attendance directing traffic.
