Poverty on agenda for humanist group

The problems of people affected by poverty will be the focus the next meeting of Shropshire Humanist Group's next meeting.
Karen Williams of Shrewsbury Foodbank Plus will discuss the reality of struggling to survive and the problems faced by the lower-paid, both in day-to-day living and in dealing with government and other officials.
The meeting, at 7.30pm on March 15, will be at the University Centre in Shrewsbury Guildhall, Frankwell Quay. Visitors are welcome, but voluntary donations requested.
