The road is closed after an early morning crash.
An A-road in Welshpool is closed after a crash in the early hours of this morning (August 26).
A warning posted on AA states that the A458 is closed both ways between A483 (Buttington Roundabout) and All Saints Church.
The incident was first reported at around 2am.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a damage only, single-vehicle collision that took place on the A458 between Middletown and Welshpool at 2.20am on Wednesday (26/8).
“The road was closed while officers attended the scene.
“No injuries were reported. The vehicle was recovered from the road at approximately 5.20am.”
