Consultation to be held for 800 new homes north of Telford

There would be a mix of “high-quality” new homes, including family homes.

A public consultation on proposals for 800 new homes on a site north of Telford will start next week, a parish council has announced.

The site is off Humber Lane and forms part of a new community of 2,700 homes that has been set out in the draft Local Plan for Telford and Wrekin, which is being considered by planning inspectors.

Lilleshall Parish Council has shared a message on its Facebook page regarding Gladman Developments' upcoming public consultation.

"From Monday, April 27, Gladman will launch a public consultation on proposals for approximately 800 new high-quality market and affordable homes at its site off Humber Lane, to the north of Telford," the announcement read.

There would be a mix of “high-quality” new homes, including family homes, affordable homes and accessible homes that are adaptable to the changing needs of residents.

The plans also include a local centre, land for a new primary school and nursery, community open space and allotments.

"Gladman are launching a public consultation, including a drop-in session for local people in the main hall at Turreff Hall on Turreff Avenue in Donnington (TF2 8HG), on Monday, April 27 2026 between 3pm and 7pm.

"You can also learn more and provide feedback via their dedicated consultation website www.humberlaneconsultation.co.uk which will be live from Monday, April 27.

"As part of the broader public consultation, there will also be a freephone number and a dedicated project email for local people to use."
