Fire crews issue update after call Sainsbury’s Local in Shropshire town

Crews were called to the store after concerns were raised
Two fire appliances were called to Sainsbury’s Local on Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, after concerns were raised about a possible fire involving an air conditioning unit.
Crews from Market Drayton and Whitchurch attended at around 2.44pm on Monday, September 14.
Firefighters found that the issue was caused by a fault rather than a fire. Temperatures were checked using a thermal imaging camera, with crews also using small tools during their checks.
An operations officer was also in attendance.
