Patriotic Mandy Carr let fundraising enthusiasm go to her head when she had her hair dyed red, white and blue and donned a pair of Union Jack printed leggings in aid of charity.
Her new look caused quite a stir at The Midcounties Co-operative's store, in Wombridge Road, Trench.
And for customer service assistant Mandy, 49, from Trench, it was well worth it.
She raised £750 for Women's Aid thanks to sponsorship and a raffle she organised with prizes donated by local businesses.
Mandy, who normally has more subtle blonde highlights, said: "I was inspired by the jubilee and local hairdressers Contrast dyed my hair free of charge. The reaction has been amazing."
