Case adjourned for Powys man accused of assaulting a police officer

The case against a Powys man accused of assaulting a police officer has been adjourned.

Darrell Slinger appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

But the 24 year-old of Mill View Close, Howey did not enter a plea to a charge of common assault on PC 1001 Gravell-Williams at Builth Wells on July 6 2026.

Magistrates adjourned the case until August 18 for Slinger's solicitor to be able to view the police officer's body worn footage and to then possibly fix a trial date.

Slinger remains on unconditional bail until that date.
