An MP has hailed AFC Telford United's promotion success and encouraged residents to get behind them in their numbers next season.

Telford secured promotion to the National League North in magical style with a 4-2 comeback play-off final victory at Kettering Town on Monday (May 5).
It came 364 days after they agonisingly missed out on promotion, losing to Leamington in last season's play-off final.
Each goal was celebrated passionately by members of the Bucks board including Shropshire-born Hollywood producer Chris Ball who is a minority investor.
Telford MP Shaun Davies watched the game at home with his son and was over the moon with the result.
