Sushi bar to replace Shrewsbury hotel

A bar, hotel and restaurant which was given a £100,000 revamp by its new owners less than 12 months ago has closed again, and will re-open as a sushi restaurant.

The Bellstone Hotel in Shrewsbury was relaunched last April. But now the lease has been taken over by the owners of the Dragon King restaurant in Old Pott's Way, who are set to transform the venue into Japanese sushi restaurant.
