Latest supercar can trace its roots back to the original Miura SV.

Lamborghini has launched a new, more hardcore version of its Revuelto supercar.

Called the Revuelto SV, it’s the latest in a long line of ‘Super Veloce’ cars that can trace its roots back to the original Miura SV launched 55 years ago.

Arriving as the highest-performance Revuelto to date, the SV will be limited to just 1,963 units, with each getting the same V12 hybrid engine setup as the standard car. However, with 1,050bhp it has slightly more power than the standard car, and this allows it to go from 0-60mph in under 2.5 seconds. Flat-out, it’ll manage 214mph. In all, it’s the most powerful and fastest production Lamborghini ever made.

There are improved aerodynamics for more high-speed downforce, while racing-inspired suspension has been equipped to make things even more level. Powerful carbon-ceramic brakes sit behind wheels finished with sticky Bridgestone Potenza R tyres, too.

Black accents are used across the SV, while a redesigned ‘SV’ logo can be found on the sides and rear. Customers can swap out the usually silver-finished Lamborghini badge for black or bronze versions, too.

Inside, lightweight carbon fibre is used in areas such as the door panels, while racing seats use a carbon shell as standard. There’s also the option to upgrade to one-piece Race Seats for an experience even closer to the one found in motorsport, while these upgraded chairs help to lower weight further.

A new Pilota driving mode has also been launched on the Revuelto SV, representing a step above the usual top-performance Corsa. Pilota draws inspiration from Lamborghini’s GT3 cars and allows the car to adapt to different race track conditions. It’s based around a customisable five-step traction control system, too.

Lamborghini hasn’t released official pricing for the SV, but it’s likely to be well in the region of £500,000.
