Kia EV2 ‘Long Range’ is the latest EV to receive maximum £3,750 Electric Car Grant

The EV2 Long Range is equipped with a 61kWh battery pack and an electric motor, providing a claimed range of up to 275 miles.
The Kia EV2 Long Range is the latest EV to be eligible for the maximum Electric Car Grant incentive.
The government’s Electric Car Grant will slash up to £3,750 off the price of a new EV priced under £37,000.
Customers who order a Kia EV2 with the Long Range 61kWh battery pack can now save £3,750, taking the starting price down to £24,245 for the entry-level ‘Air’ model.
Meanwhile, the mid-level GT-Line comes in at £28,995, after the ECG savings, and the top-of-the-line GT-Line S is yours for £32,595.

Kia claims that the EV2 fitted with the 61kWh battery pack can travel up to a claimed 275 miles on a single charge and that 118kW DC rapid-charging is compatible, allowing a 10 to 80 per cent top-up to be completed in 30 minutes.
Plus, the Kia EV2 Standard Range fitted with the smaller 42.2kWh battery pack and electric motor continues to receive the £1,500 incentive through the Electric Car Grant, with a starting price of £26,995 in ‘First Edition’ specification.
The Kia EV2 Long Range with the ECG savings is available to order now with deliveries expected to commence later this year.
