Honda has announced price cuts for both its CR-V and ZR-V SUVs.

Introduced to bolster the appeal of both cars, the changes see the CR-V eHEV hybrid now start from £43,995, down from £48,075. Higher-spec Advance cars, meanwhile, now kick off from £46,996.

There’s also the plug-in hybrid version of the CR-V, which now starts at £44,995 for Elegance Trim specification, or £47,995 for Advance Tech. Both cars get a 2.0-litre petrol engine, linked to a 17.7kWh battery for an electric-only range of up to 50 miles and a claimed fuel consumption of 353.1mpg, though only when the battery is fully charged.

The ZR-V comes with a 2.0-litre self-charging hybrid system which brings together the four-cylinder petrol engine with a compact electric motor and battery. Honda claims a fuel consumption of up to 49.6mpg combined.

This new pricing structure strengthens the appeal of both the CR-V and ZR-V, making our electrified SUVs an even more compelling choice for customers”.

Both cars are now on sale at their new prices.
