Fiat 500e receives maximum £3,750 Electric Car Grant

The electric city car is now priced at £17,245, with the ECG, and is now one of the cheapest EVs on sale.
The Fiat 500e has become the latest EV to qualify for the government’s maximum £3,750 Electric Car Grant incentive.
Customers who order the electric supermini can now benefit from the car being in Band 1 of the scheme, reducing the starting price to £17,245 for the entry-level Icon variant – making it one of the cheapest EVs currently on sale.
The 500e is available with two battery packs, with the standard 24kWh unit mated to a single electric motor to produce 94bhp and can travel a claimed 118 miles between charges. There is also a larger 42kWh battery pack with an electric motor that increases power to 116bhp and can deliver a claimed range of up to 202 miles between top ups.

In terms of equipment, the Icon model comes as standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, climate-controlled air conditioning and a 10.25-inch infotainment system. Move up to the range-topping La Prima for £23,245 with the ECG, and it boasts a reversing camera, LED headlights, a glass panoramic roof and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Orders for the Fiat 500e with the ECG savings are open now with customer deliveries expected to commence soon.
