Halls Commercial completes off market investment sale of Welshpool service station in 10 days
A prominent service station investment in Welshpool has been sold off market by an award-winning commercial agency for £925,000 just 10 days after the company was instructed.
Applegreen Service Station, Salop Road, Welshpool has been sold by Shrewsbury-based Halls Commercial to a private property company.
James Evans, head of Halls Commercial, says the sale demonstrates the demand for strategically located, roadside property investment opportunities providing a return on capital and the value of the company’s established network of active buyers.
“In this off market investment sale, we were able to agree terms quickly for a sale, maintain confidentiality throughout the process and achieve an excellent disposal result for our client all within just 10 days,” he added.
“The transaction demonstrates the continued demand for well-positioned, roadside investment assets, particularly in the fuel retail sector, in strategic regional locations where buyer investor demand continues to outstrip supply.
“We were able to leverage our established relationships with active investors and operators to secure a swift sale while delivering a strong outcome for the vendor.”

Mr Evans reported strong demand from investors seeking service stations, roadside properties and other commercial investment opportunities across Mid Wales, Shropshire and the surrounding counties.
He urged owners who are considering selling similar commercial investment properties to seek professional advice from his team about current market demand and off-market opportunities.
