Jake Miller to play Birmingham
Miami native, Jake Miller, has performed with Pharrell, Ariana Grande, Flo Rida and Jason Derulo.
The pop sensation, who headlines Birmingham's O2 2 on Thursday, has been riding on the crest of a wave since releasing his debut album, Us Against Them, in 2013.
And despite enjoying huge success, he's kept his feet on the ground and remains close to his family. "My dad is like my best friend.
"It seems like I've been doing this for as long as I can remember, but not in the way that I'm bored with it.
"Every single day is a new adventure and every now and then, I just stop and I look around and I can't believe that this is what I'm doing for a living.
"It hasn't really sunk in yet, and it definitely hasn't gotten old.
"I'm not doing this for fortune and fame, I'm truly doing it to try and make a difference in the world.
"I write a lot of music that's positive, happy music and I've had a lot of people tell me how much my music has helped them, which leads me to try to make more."
