The group - which also features former Korn member Kalen Chase and Jed Simon (of Strapping Young Lad and Scar the Martyr fame) - will play Birmingham in March.

Listen to Vimic's My Fate here:

Joey Jordison is a Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum-selling, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. He co-founded Slipknot back in 1995 at just 20 years of age.

He also co-founded Murderdolls and has performed alongside Metallica, Satyricon, Ministry, Korn and Rob Zombie.

Vimic, which was founded this year, was formed from the ashes of Jordison's previous band Scar the Martyr.

Their Birmingham date - at the O2 Academy on March 29 - is among just three UK shows they will perform.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday at 9am.
