Summer Nights Film Festival is back for its sixth year at 14 locations across the country.

It's the first time that a venue in Shropshire will be hosting this unique cinematic experience.

Attingham Park, near Shrewsbury, will be screening two Oscar-winning films, The Great Gatsby and Les Miserables in front of the Regency mansion.

On September 9, Attingham will be celebrating the roaring 1920s with The Great Gatsby, which is suitable to audiences over 12 and the following day, audiences will need to warm up their vocal cords before settling down to watch Les Miserables.

This interpretation of the legendary stage show will get audiences singing along with the classics I Dreamed A Dream, Bring Him Home, One Day More and many more.

Claire Tafft, visitor experience manager at the National Trust estate, said: "We're really looking forward to bringing the big screen to Attingham.

"Audiences will be able to enjoy the great outdoors in such a wonderful heritage location and to add to the atmosphere, we're inviting everyone to get in the spirit of the films and dress up each night."

Tickets for the screenings are now available to book in advance at a discounted 'early bird' rate of £11 if purchased up to six weeks in advance of any screening; the early bird price is also available at any time for group bookings of four or more people.

Early bird tickets are only available through QUAD Box office. After the advance period, standard tickets cost £13 per person per screening.
