Shrewsbury Jazz Network to host gig
Shrewsbury Jazz Network will be presenting Partikel at The Hive, Belmont, Shrewsbury on January 9.

Partikel is made up of three London-based musicians who have very different musical backgrounds.
Their music puts a twist on the standard jazz format while keeping to the tradition of deep harmony and creative improvisation.
The band's repertoire is influenced by African and Latin American music as well as contemporary New York jazz.
The gig starts at 8pm and tickets cost £14, £12 concessions and for those aged under 22 £7.
