Brew & Browse – a Local Crafters, Makers & Small Business Fayre – will be held at Starbucks at Sainsbury’s, Forge Retail Park, on Saturday, October 10, from 11am to 3pm.

The event is being organised in partnership with Starbucks in Telford to showcase local businesses while raising money for Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin.

Stallholders will have the chance to showcase their products to new customers, with organisers looking for a range of local traders, from makers of handmade gifts, jewellery and artwork to those selling homewares, food and drink.

Businesses and crafters interested in taking a stall are asked to pop into Starbucks at Forge Retail Park to book a place.

All stallholders are also asked to make a donation to Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin.

Claire Fishlock, senior service development officer at Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Starbucks in Telford for initiating Brew & Browse and for being such a fantastic partner to our local charity.

“This is a brilliant opportunity to bring local arts, crafts and small businesses together for what we hope will be a really enjoyable and inspiring event, all while raising valuable funds to support older people across the county.

“I’d really encourage local small businesses to get involved as it’s a wonderful way to introduce your products to new customers. And, most importantly, by taking part, you’ll be helping us make a positive difference to local older people.”

Money raised will support the charity's work helping older people remain independent, socially connected, supported and informed.

Its services include information and advice, advocacy, befriending, day centres, dementia services and wellbeing activity groups.
