The next Shrewsbury Hard of Hearing meeting will take place on Monday, September 14, from 2pm to 4pm at the United Reformed Church Hall near English Bridge, Coleham Head.

Daniel Clark will give a talk entitled “What can AI do for me?”

The group provides social opportunities and support for people who are hard of hearing, with the meetings also offering a chance to meet others and reduce isolation.

Refreshments, including tea, coffee and biscuits, will be available, along with a raffle.

The meeting is supported by Audiology at Shrewsbury Hospital, Sight and Hearing Loss Community Resource and Hearing Link.

A spokesman for the group said: “We urge people to come along to what will be a very interesting and informative talk and make new friends.

“This group breaks down isolation which is so important. No need to be alone.”
