Oswestry Morris group invites musicians and dancers to join
Oswestry Dark Morris is looking for new dancers and musicians to join its weekly practice sessions
A new Morris dancing group in Oswestry is inviting local people to dust off their instruments or try something new by joining its weekly practice sessions.

Oswestry Dark Morris meets on Wednesday evenings at The Last Inn at Upper Hengoed, where dancers are accompanied by live music.
The group performs Border Morris, a high-energy and traditionally lively style of English folk dance originating in the Welsh border counties of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
People aged 16 and over are welcome to join the new Morris side, with no previous dancing experience required.
The group is also looking for musicians who play instruments including flute, tin whistle, fiddle, guitar, recorder, banjo, accordion, concertina and drums.
Organisers are particularly keen to hear from people who still have a recorder from their school days and fancy bringing it along to help provide music for the dancers.
