Wheatlands Care Home, on Southfield Road, will host a community fundraising soup lunch from noon to 2pm on Friday, November 6.

The event will raise funds for Shropshire Inclusive Dance (SiD), a charity that makes dance and creative movement accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

There is no set admission charge, with donations welcome to support the charity's work.

SiD works with a wide range of people and organisations, including young children in special schools, youth groups, professional dance companies and dementia support groups.

Through inclusive dance and movement, the charity aims to help people build confidence, express their creativity and enjoy the physical, emotional and social benefits of taking part.

The fundraising lunch will give residents and visitors the chance to meet others, enjoy a warming meal and support the charity's work.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event at Wheatlands Care Home, Southfield Road, Much Wenlock, TF13 6AT.

For more information about the fundraising event, contact Tori Sword on 07766 041589 or email [email protected].
