Father Stuart Howes, parish priest at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Hadley, has reminded visitors that the service on Sunday, November 8, will begin at the later time of 11.15am rather than the usual 11am.

The change will allow members of the congregation, military veterans and their families to attend the service at Hadley War Memorial in Manse Road, which begins at 11am.

Everyone attending the memorial service is welcome to join the congregation afterwards at Holy Trinity Church, at Hadley Hollow on Waterloo Road.

Father Howes also encouraged visitors to look at a memorial plaque inside the church commemorating Harry Patch, often known as the last Tommy, who married at Holy Trinity in 1919.
