Singer Goodrem scored 33 for her Viennese waltz.

Australian singer Delta Goodrem has wowed the judges yet again after performing a “sensational” routine with partner Kai Widdrington on Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween week.

The pair scored 33 for their Viennese waltz to Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers while dressed as Morticia and Gomez Addams from The Addams Family.

They were showered with praise, with judge Craig Revel Horwood calling the routine “absolutely gorgeous” while Anton Du Beke said: “It was incredible, I loved that dance. It was sensational.”

After receiving the first 10 of the 2026 series last week, Goodrem received another high score and soared to second place on the leaderboard with 33 points.

Social media star John Nellis and Katya Jones secured the top spot after earning 35 points for their tango to Dance… by Slayyyter, which judge Motsi Mabuse described as “great”.

Saturday’s episode of the BBC dancing competition opened with TV dog trainer Graeme Hall and professional partner Lauren Oakley dancing the samba to Coconut by Harry Nilsson.

The pair scored 25 for their routine, which Revel Horwood said “needs finessing”.

They tied with Winter Olympic champion Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita, who also scored 25 for their quickstep to Black Magic by Little Mix, which head judge Shirley Ballas said “wasn’t your best”.

The episode was filled with elaborate costumes, with Du Beke dressed as an angel while Revel Horwood looked like a devil.

“The roles you were born to play,” presenter Josh Widdicombe joked, while his co-host Emma Willis said the judges looked “amazing”.

Mabuse opted for a green butterfly ensemble, while Ballas wore an elaborate ice queen ensemble which Willis described as “slightly terrifying”.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One.
