Popular Kington village chase for walkers, bikers or horse riders takes place this October

Huntington Village will welcome the return of the annual 11k community course race on Saturday, October 3.

Whether you are a seasoned runner, an avid cyclist, a casual walker, or hitting the trail on horseback, this inclusive event offers a truly unique experience for everyone.

The journey kicks off at noon from Huntington Village Hall.

Participants will traverse a scenic loop through Gipsy Lane, Hergest Ridge, Gladestry, and Stone House Bank before heading back to the finish line at the Village Hall.

Afterwards, celebrate your achievement with fellow participants over a warm, well-deserved meal of soup and sandwiches at the local Swan Inn.

This fantastic day out is a massive hit with both the young and old, making it the perfect family outing.

To add a fun twist to the day, organisers highly encourage all entrants to don their best fancy-dress costumes.

Best of all, under-16s can compete completely free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Most importantly, participation helps give back to the community, as all proceeds from the event directly support St Thomas a Becket Church, Huntington, and The Dove Project.

Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

To secure a spot on the starting line and find further information, please fill in your details as soon as possible at Huntington Church Chase 2026 Booking Page or contact [email protected]
