Horse team showing tricks used in film and tv and parachute team bring excitement to Kington Show
This year's Kington Show on Saturday, September 12 promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
There will be the usual horse, cattle and sheep classes alongside an action-packed programme of entertainment.

The show will be held on its usual site at The Ovals Farm, Kington HR5 3LN, close to the Welsh Border in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
After 150 years the show continues to be one of the most popular one day show in the county and this year will be no exception!

Excitement will be provided in the main ring by the OG Performance horses and their team of specialist riders displaying tricks used in multiple film and TV series.
They will be showcasing the Equestrian Arts of trick riding, dressage and airs above the ground.
The team has been involved in live equestrian shows for the last five years in both the UK and Europe and can also be seen in multiple film and TV series, so if you think you recognise some of the horses or riders, you may well be correct.
Many of the horses and riders have been featured in films such as Napoleon, The Winter King, Rings of Power, House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones, Snow White and many more.

In addition, the Parachute Display team will be there again this year with their heart stopping aerial stunts during the afternoon.
The team will be making a dramatic entrance into the main ring!
From 4,000 feet up, they’ll leap from a helicopter, trailing smoke, waving flags, and gliding in under colourful canopies. Watch as they paint the sky with smoke as they appear to dance through the clouds with mid-air acrobatics!

The main ring will also host the ever popular grand parade of livestock, the interhunt challenge and a magnificent procession of vintage vehicles.
Elsewhere on the showground there will be entertainment from the Wye Valley Axemen, the Ferret World Roadshow, the Bill Bailey Band, and much more!

The Wye Valley Axemen have members from Rhayader, Llanidloes and Newtown areas, with their ages varying from 16 to sixty.
There will be on-going displays throughout the day demonstrating speed and skill against each other with a lively commentary. They will also be racing against the shearers
In the evening, Radnor YFC will be hosting the ever popular after-show dance.

There will be over 150 trade stands, including a food and craft marquee, an open dog show, a fun dog show, horticultural classes, shearing and YFC competitions.
In addition, there will be plenty of opportunity to eat and drink during the day at the wide variety of catering stands and the licensed public bar.
The show will be open from 9am until 6pm.
