A film based on the Neil Diamond tribute band will be shown in Knighton
The film Song Sung Blue will be screened to Knighton Community Centre on Friday, November 13 at 7.30pm.
It is a musical drama based on the true story of Mike and Claire Sardina, a Milwaukee couple who formed the popular Neil Diamond tribute band “Lightning & Thunder.”
Inspired by the 2008 documentary of the same name, the film follows their journey from humble impersonators to beloved regional performers, exploring the highs and lows of their careers and relationship through personal challenges, while celebrating themes of dreams, resilience, and the joy of music.
Song Sung Blue was written, produced, and directed by Craig Brewer, based on the 2008 documentary film of the same name by Greg Kohs.
The film stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson as Mike and Claire Sardina.
