Busking on the streets of Ludlow, 15-year-old Macy O could have never predicted attracting a famous onlooker.

The video, shared by Macy's family, shows the young singer and songwriter performing her own song 'No Home' next to the town's market.

Amongst the crowd stood Kaiser Chief frontman, Ricky Wilson, who was exploring the town ahead of his gig at the castle on Friday.

The magical meeting fell on the same day that the youngster celebrated the one-year anniversary of the release of 'No Home', inspired by her heartbreak watching the crisis unfold in Ukraine.

Recorded at Abbey Roads Studio, all proceeds from the song were donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and the British Red Cross.

After admiring Macy's set, the 45-year-old star could be seen approaching the youngster with a tip, before stopping for a hug and a picture.

Later, Macy's mother, Naomi Waterson said the star had given her daughter £20, which she has vowed never to spend.

Naomi added: "Macy walked up to the castle and was invited inside to listen to the sound check. It was amazing.

"Ricky even said that next year they are looking for local musicians to play as support acts and said they would like to invite her to open one of their concerts!"

At just 15 years old, Highley's Macy O has just finished recording her second studio album.

Her jam-packed performance schedule has seen her tour the country, even performing at a Eurovision pre-show in Liverpool.
