Luton made it four league wins on the spin with a fine 2-0 victory away at Peterborough.

Jack Wilshere’s on-song side condemned Robbie Savage’s Posh to a fourth league game without a win after Jordon Clark’s early opener and Liam Kelly’s own goal at London Road.

The Hatters got off to the perfect start as a nice move was completed when Kasey Palmer slipped Clark through to slot home the opener in the third minute.

Posh’s best chance to level before the break fell to Harry Leonard as he hit the bar after Harley Mills’ free-kick caused carnage in the visitors’ box.

Wilshere’s side doubled their lead early in the second half and Palmer was once again at the heart of it as his cross hit Kelly and went into his own net.

Ethan Williams went close to pulling one back for the hosts when his strike from outside the box was cleared off the line.

Luton goalkeeper James Shea tipped Brandon Khela’s effort past the post before he did well to keep out Leonard’s strike.
