Woking’s disappointment was complete when Steven Turner was sent off.

Regan Booty scored late on as leaders Boreham Wood came from behind to win 2-1 at Woking for an eighth straight National League victory.

Josh Kelly gave the Cards a shock lead in the 23rd minute when connecting with Harrison Sohna’s inviting delivery.

But Tylor Golden equalised with a fine volley from Ben Whitfield’s headed flick-on just after the half-hour mark and, minutes after half-time, Vicente Reyes saved a Zak Brunt penalty to deny the Wood a second goal.

That would come, though, when Booty drove a left-footed curling shot into the top corner in the 78th minute and Woking’s disappointment was complete when Steven Turner was sent off for fouling Charlie O’Connell four minutes later.
