Going into it on the back of a stunning start to the season - Builth continued in the same form as they won the toss and elected to field.

They put the home side in to bat and it proved to be the right decision as they had the some side 2-2, as openers George Beswick and Nick McAndrew went without troubling the scorers.

Not a single batsman in the order managed to reach double figures as Max Middlebrook finished as top scorer on nine - with the home side collapsing to 42 all out.

A lot of the work was down to Nathan Howell and Sujeewa Serenarthne, who finished with three wickets each. The former took three wickets for just seven runs, with the latter three for eight runs in four overs, including one maiden.

Ben Cripps picked up two other wickets - before the simple run chase started.

Serenarathne went for a fifth ball duck and at one stage they were 22-2 but there was no danger of them falling short of the low total - as Dylan McPhee and Tim Richards steered them to victory.
