Cricket round-up: Newtown send relegation battle down to the wire
A round-up of all of the latest action from the Shropshire County Cricket League.
The battle against the drop is set to go right down to the wire in the Premier Division, after second-bottom Newtown won by 41 runs at Shrewsbury in the Shropshire County Cricket League.

Ludlow have dropped to just seven points clear of Newtown following a run of seven successive defeats, which means safety is still a possibility for Newtown ahead of the final weekend.
Opening with the bat, Nathan Smith high-scored for Newtown with an undefeated 55 - while Ben Price (46), Tom Leslie (44) and Jordan Baijnath (30) helped propel them to 253/8.
Will Parton (48) and William Jenkins (43) led the response for Shrewsbury, but Baijnath took four wickets to help bowl the hosts out for 212.
In the final fixture, Newtown host fourth-placed Wem and Ludlow travel to eighth-placed Sentinel.
Rock bottom Montgomery were consigned to relegation from Division One after losing by 231 runs at Bridgnorth.
Jed Schwarzbach (73) and Sam Baugh (70 - not out) led the way for Bridgnorth and were assisted by Ian Gregory (40) and Ross Hudley (37) to sign off with 294/5.
Bridgnorth then made easy work of bowling out Montgomery, as Baugh continued to shine with an excellent bowling performance, which saw him take a staggering eight wickets to catch Montgomery for 63 inside the 20th-over.
