Wolves match halted after fan needs medical attention
The incident occured just before the half-hour mark.
Wolves’ Championship clash with Cardiff City was halted for several minutes after a supporter required medical treatment in the stands.
The match at Molineux on Saturday was stopped just before the half-hour mark after fans in the South Bank area of the ground alerted the players and officials.
Medical professionals, including those from Wolves’ bench, entered the stand as the game was paused for around three minutes before restarting.
It is believed the supporter was able to walk with medics to another area of the stadium, where they received treatment. While initially concerning, the issue is not thought to have been serious.
