Two West Brom prospects rewarded for progress with national call
The trio will join their nation for a camp.
Albion youngsters Ollie Bostock and Alex Williams have been called into a summer training camp with the Wales senior set-up.
The Baggies academy graduates are highly-regarded at club and international level and will enjoy a first taste of the first team environment over the coming week.
They will be joined by Albion central defender Chris Mepham, a 53-cap international.
Wales have back-to-back summer friendlies on the horizon against Ghana, on June 2, and Romania on June 6. Craig Bellamy’s men failed to qualify for this summer’s World Cup.
It remains to be seen whether youthful duo catch the eye enough to land a place in Bellamy’s squad for those friendlies.
It has been a breakthrough campaign for Bostock and Williams for their club.
Right-back Williams, 21, started the campaign in the first-team squad under former boss Ryan Mason.
He made his Baggies senior debut in the League Cup penalty shootout defeat to Derby and then a league bow in the win at Stoke in the Championship before a broken ankle in training on Wales youth international duty set him back.

The Warwick-born youngster has represented Wales through the age groups.
Winger Bostock, 19, featured nine times for Albion this term. He made his debut at Millwall in October before several more outings, including starts at Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship and at Norwich in the FA Cup.
The Lichfield-based flyer netted his first Albion goal in defeat at Oxford and played an influential role with an assist and the winning penalty in the Cup victory at Swansea.
Defender Mepham, a recruit from Bournemouth last summer, was left out of the reckoning under James Morrison for the final handful of games of the season after recovering from a lengthy hamstring absence.
