Six points currently separate the division's top two ahead of them going head to head at Park Hall.

Leaders TNS remain unbeaten in the league this season, having won their last 13 league games - 14 in all competitions - since an opening day goalless draw at Penybont.

Second-placed Nomads are also in good form, winning 11 of their 14 league games this season.

Saints were 9-0 winners over Ammanford last Friday night to ensure confidence is high going into the clash against Nomads.

"We're confident as it is, but it's just even more confidence for the boys," said TNS striker Brad Young, reflecting on his side's fine form continuing against Ammanford.

"Obviously, there's top quality in the squad, whether it's the starting XI, the bench and even the unlucky ones that are out of the team.

"But we're always confident and we always go into a game with confidence. If you've not got confidence then what are you doing it for?"

Young, who started his career at Aston Villa, led the way for Saints against Ammanford by scoring a hat-trick.

"Obviously, I'm delighted with the hat-trick, but if you look at all the chances I had in the game I should have had six maybe," he added.

"But it's the life of the striker. You score some, you miss some, you've just got to keep going."
